You may be in Ireland or the UK with the rain but why not treat yourself to some tropical coconut to take you back to your fabulous memories on a beach in the summer. A coconut and berry smoothie bowl will provide you with fibre, a number of vitamins including vitamin C, E and B1, but also a variety of nutritious minerals. This smoothie bowl recipe uses mixed berries for delightful sweetness blended with coconut milk to balance out the fruity flavours, producing a tasty and beautiful burgundy coloured smoothie. The coconut and berry smoothie bowl is simple and easy to make recipe, so you will have time to prepare it no matter how busy you are.
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 small sliced banana
- 1 cup fresh berries
- Shredded coconut
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup natural yogurt
Blend the frozen mixed berries, coconut milk and sliced banana together
Place your mixture in a bowl and put your fresh berries and shredded coconut on top designed exactly how you like.
